The kitchen here at Rose Cottage will be a vision in white this weekend as I'll be decorating the Christmas cakes so I can have them photographed and added to the website. We started making Christmas cakes for the farmers' markets a couple of years ago and they have been a huge success. The small ones are especially popular, with people buying two or three at a time to give as presents. What a lovely idea! I'm keeping the decoration simple so that they can survive the post, but more intricate ones will be on offer at Inverness Farmers' Market the first Saturday of November and December, plus 18 Dec. |
