Looking forward to Choctober this Sunday at Elgin Town Hall. We'll have two types of chocolate sauce plus our chocolate fudge along with lots of our traditional preserves. Come along if you can. Choctober is also in Nairn the following Saturday (30th March) at the Community Centre. Hope to see you at one of the events! |

At the end of 2012 we were asked if we'd be interested in producing
mustard and chutney for Cairngorm Brewery in Aviemore. So, after making a
few sample products, two of each were chosen. The brewery shop now
stocks Blessed Thistle ale mustard and chutney; Black Gold mustard; and
Nessie's Monster Mash chutney. They'll be on the website and available to Rose Cottage outlets very soon.

Rose Cottage products will be available at DK@LB, Leachkin Bakery's new shop in the Victorian Market, Inverness, which opens tomorrow (1 December).

What a fantastic weekend at Fraser Castle with
Exclusively Highlands. Great venue in the heart of Aberdeenshire. What a
lot of people came - we were watching out the tiny kitchen window as
cars and more cars came down the road to the overflow car park - the
main one was full from about 11am! Came home to see that hubby had been doing a spot of recipe development for me - more details on that another day.
So this weekend we're at Inverness Farmers' Market on Saturday (1 Dec)
and Eden Court with Exclusively Highlands on Sunday (that event is on
Fri till Sun for EH events fans). |

Shops are ordering our Christmas products and I'll try to keep you updated of who has what to aid your shopping. Currently, Househill Farm Shop has cranberry jelly, chutney and sauce along with Christmas chutney, cakes - iced and uniced - and Christmas puddings. This is in addition to the ususal fine selection it stocks. Robertson's at Beauly has Christmas cakes and puddings in addition to a lovely selection of our products. Highland Wholefoods has mincemeat and Christmas puddings.
Of course, you can come and see us at any of the events we are attending in the next few weeks for the full range. |

So chuffed - have just found out we won Silver at the World Jampionships 2012 for our blackcurrant jam. What a year for award wins!
