Chutneys, relishes and mustards

Black Isle tomatoes, local apples, ethically sourced dried fruit and spices all feature in our chutneys, relishes and mustards.

Each product is lovingly made by hand in small batches - ours are genuine homemade preserves.

No artificial ingredients or cheap fillers are used.

Most chutneys contain no more than 10 per cent sugar and the absolute minimum of salt is added. A jar of Rose Cottage chutney typically contains around a tenth of a teaspoon of salt - that's because we use good quality ingredients so there's no need to boost the flavour artificially.

Relishes are made with fruit/vegetables, vinegar, spices and sugar. As they contain less vinegar, they take less time to cook so have a different taste and texture to a chutney.

Our relishes are extremely popular as dips, too - try them yourself!
